Overflow Incontinence

Overflow incontinence almost only affects men, it is usually found in men who experience problems emptying their bladders.  The bladder fills up and urine overflows.  This leakage can occur during exertion, although a little leakage can occur continuously.

The cause of overflow incontinence is often an enlarged prostate. But it can also be the result of illness, for example MS (multiple sclerosis) or diabetes.  Damage to the spinal cord can also lead to this type of problem.
